Who is performing at the Tony Awards 2023?
Theatre actors take the stage every night when they’re a part of a Broadway production. They wow us with their talent, capture our attention by bringing characters to life, and keep us hooked onto a story. Of course all this deserves to be recognized, and some will be at the Tony Awards 2023! During the ceremony, there’s also performances. Who will be performing?
This year there are 26 categories, including Best Play, Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Performance by an Actor or Actress, and more. There’s some special awards that will be handed out as well. The 2023 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre will be presented to Lisa Dawn Cave, Victoria Bailey and Robert Fried. The Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award will be presented to Jerry Mitchell.
This year’s awards show will once again be hosted by Ariana DeBose and take place at the United Palace in New York City. Be sure to tune in Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET for the live, three-hour broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.

Usually members from the productions up for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical perform numbers from their respective shows. And that’s going to happen again this year! The awards show has shared their performers list We’ve shared them all below:

- A special performance for Joel Grey and John Kander, recipients of the 2023 Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre
While not yet confirmed, we may also be getting a performance from our host of the night as well! In a press release, executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner said, “Ariana will host and dance and sing, we’re so thrilled she’s back to do the thing.” We’ll find out soon!
