The Tony Awards are soon upon us, which means we’ll finally get to see some of our favorite theatrical productions receive their much-deserved attention and, hopefully, get to secure a few accolades along the way. What’s more, this awards ceremony is one of the few ceremonies we’ll have for some time, since awards season isn’t until much later in the year. All the more reason why you shouldn’t miss out!

As for who will be the host of the Tony Awards, you can expect West Side Story‘s Ariana DeBose to return to the stage to show us a good time.

DeBose made social media erupt when she sang her “shout-out song” at the BAFTAs. And while it wasn’t received well by the world the first time, after a while, it became a fan-favorite. (Some would even say it’s camp!) Hence why having this celebrity host once more was a no-brainer.
