The ABC reboot of The Wonder Years will soon be on your television screens once again! Beginning on June 14, fans of the show will get to see the the Williams family return as we watch them grow through the eyes of Dean as an adult. With the new season coming, who is part of The Wonder Years season 2 cast?

We will get to see some famous faces appear on the series, which follows Dean Wiliams as he takes us through his life as he grew up in the 1960’s. The first episode of season 2, “One Small Step” reveals in the synopsis that we are in 1969 and the title hints at the phrase used to signify the moon landing.

“One Small Step” will begin in the summer as “Dean and Bill are experiencing new walks of life in New York City where Dean has tagged along for Bill’s career-making songwriting gig. Back in Montgomery, Lilian’s infamous sister, Jackie, pays a memorable visit.”

Among the guest stars this season will include Patti LaBelle, Donald Faison, Wayne Brady, Bradley Whitford, and Tituss Burgess.

Brady will be playing Melvin, who is Dean’s uncle and his father, Bill’s, older brother. He is described as being “super successful and insufferaly smug about it.” We will also be meeting Dean’s Aunt Jackie, played by Phoebe Robinson.

Who is among The Wonder Years season 2 cast?

Returning cast members include Don Cheadle as the adult Dean, Laura Kariuki as Dean’s sister Kim, and Dulé Hill and Saycon Sengbloh as the Williams parents. Young Dean is played by Elisha “EJ” Williams.

It looks like season 2 of The Wonder Years is shaping up to be a great season, especially with some amazing guest cast joining.

The series will premiere on Wednesday, June 14 on ABC at 9/8c with a special one-hour event. If you’re unable to watch it then, the episodes will be available the next day on Hulu. Saladin K. Patterson is both the showrunner and executive producer, alongside Bob Daily, Lee Daniels, and Jacque Edmonds Cofer.
