Unfortunately Droughtlander is still upon us. I don’t know anyone who’s more patient than Outlander fans. But the wait is definitely always worth it! The good news is that the premiere of the seventh season is almost here. Mark your calendars for Friday, June 16, 2023 on Starz. Who is the cast this season?

Season 7 of the time-travel romance has a lot of episodes for our viewing pleasure. The new installment in the beloved Claire and Jamie story will have a total of 16 episodes. So much story to delve into! Since it’s such a mega season, the first eight episodes will air starting June 16, with the second half premiering sometime in 2024.

Originally, both seasons 6 and 7 were to have 12 episodes each, but plans changed due to pandemic challenges and Caitríona Balfe’s real-life pregnancy. So the sixth season was truncated to eight episodes, with the four remaining ones added on to season 7.

So who can we expect to see in the upcoming season? Which familiar faces make a comeback and who are the new characters we will meet? We’ve got the answer for you below!
