The Flash is now in theaters and delivers a wild comic book adventure. But is there an end credits scene? Find out here!

Caution: This article contains some SPOILERS for The Flash

After several delays, The Flash is finally hitting theaters. The film has Ezra Miller reprising his role as Barry Allen, a forensic scientist who’s also the Fastest Man Alive. Barry has long been haunted by his mother murdered when he was a child and his father unjustly convicted of the crime. He’s been trying to prove his dad’s innocence ever since.

Using a burst of superspeed, Barry is able to go back in time and stop his mother from dying. He finds himself in an alternate 2013, which includes a younger version of himself. But Barry learns how changing time has consequences as this world has no Justice League and thus no one to stop the evil General Zod (Michael Shannon) from invading Earth.

The two Barrys turn to Batman, who in this new world is the version played by Michael Keaton. They then recruit Supergirl (Sasha Calle) to try and fix the world.

That’s a lot of action, along with some surprise cameo appearances. But is there also a post-credits scene?

Is there a Flash post-credits scene?

There is indeed one post-credits scene within DC’s The Flash movie. The film’s sole post-credits scene airs at the very end of the movie after the full credits play, with no mid-credits scene included for this particular movie which makes sense given the film is likely not going to yield a sequel.

What is The Flash’s post-credits scene?

DC hasn’t had as much success with post-credits scenes as the MCU has. So many of them have promised projects that never come to be, such as Henry Cavill as Superman in Black Adam. So does The Flash break that trend?

The post-credits scene is more comedic as the Flash hangs out with another Justice League member. It’s played completely for laughs and has little to do with the plot or setting up any other movies. It seems more like an extended ad for the next DCEU movie Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. So while it can be funny, it’s not as vital to see this post-credits scene as The Flash oddly seems to drag for its final moments.
