911 Season 7 is happening, but it’s not going to be on FOX. Here’s everything we know about the new season of the first responder drama.

One thing we know is that 911 is coming back. There is a huge change when it comes to Season 7, and we’re not talking to the cast. We’re talking to the network. FOX couldn’t keep the series going financially, but that didn’t mean anyone was really ready to let it go. After all, it’s a popular show for the viewers.

ABC stepped in to save the day. Now we need to know what to expect as the show continues. Will the move to ABC affect anything else?

911 season 7 strike delay updates

Stay tuned for updates on how the strike will affect the filming and release date for 911 season 7. As soon as we have more news, we’ll drop it here!

When will 911 Season 7 premiere on ABC?

One thing the move is sort of affecting is the premiere. 911 Season 7 will not premiere in the fall, but that’s because ABC won’t premiere any scripted show in the fall. FOX hasn’t even confirmed its fall schedule yet, and there’s a chance all scripted shows are being held back there, too.

The writers continue their strike. This is pushing back writing time, so it’s pushing back production dates. That will push back premiere dates for anything that is coming back in the fall. ABC didn’t want to risk anything so set up an unscripted fall slate.

The earliest we’ll get 911 back is in January 2024.

Who will return in 911 Season 7?

We are expecting the whole cast to return. The move to ABC shouldn’t affect that as the production studio isn’t changing. No other contract term is changing.

  • Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash
  • Peter Krause as Robert “Bobby” Nash
  • Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley
  • Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson
  • Kenneth Choi as Howard “Howie”/”Chimney” Han
  • Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley
  • Ryan Guzman as Edmundo “Eddie” Díaz

We will also likely see more of:

  • Corinne Massiah as May Grant
  • Marcanthonee Jon Reis as Harry Grant
  • Gavin McHugh as Christopher Díaz
  • John Harlan Kim as Albert Han

What to expect when 911 Season 7 returns

There are no details of storylines just yet. That’s not too surprising when you consider the writers aren’t back in their rooms yet. There are some storylines from Season 6 that we can expect to see continue, though.

Buck and Eddie have new women in their lives, and we can expect to see more of those relationships continue. Of course, we’ll also see more of them both being there for each other and for Christopher.

Meanwhile, we’ll see more of Maddie and Chimney’s relationship blossom. They are now engaged, so when can we expect a wedding in 911 Season 7? Hopefully, nothing as traumatic as what happened at the Tarlos wedding will happen!

We’ll need to wait for the writers to head back to their rooms to see more of what to expect this season. Of course, there will be the crazy calls, but what else would we expect from this series?
