Challengers movie cast: Who stars in the sports romcom?

I’ll be honest, all of us here at Hidden Remote would watch anything if Zendaya is involved! But when it comes to the upcoming movie Challengers, you don’t have to ask us twice! The movie features a stellar cast and enticing story. Need to know more? We got you!

Not a fan of sport-focused movies? Don’t turn your back on Challengers just yet! Challengers is a sports comedy-drama with a side of romance. That’s right, this one has it all! The movie is directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by Justin Kuritzkes.

Challengers follows Tashi, a champion tennis player who is now a coach after an unfortunate injury. Tashi trains Art, her husband, into a mediocre tennis player to a Grand Slam champion. To their surprise, Patrick, Art’s former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend, is also entering the Challenger competition. Love, friendship, and their careers are all on the balance. Comedy may be one of the genres, but this is also going to be one emotional ride!

The movie was expected to drop this summer, in August, but Challengers will now premiere in theaters on Sept. 15, 2023. This isn’t one to watch with the kids, though!
