The Tarlos wedding happened, and now we’re ready to see them enjoy their futures together. When will 911 Lone Star Season 5 premiere on FOX?

911 Lone Star Season 4 brought us the moment we’d been waiting for. It was all about the Tarlos wedding. At the start of the season, it turned out that there may have been a problem, but that was quickly solved.

Then at the end, we got a devastating turn of events. Carlos’s dad was killed by an unknown person at his own front door. Tarlos nearly went off the deep end, but he was pulled back and realized that his life still needed to go on.

Now we’re ready to see that life go on. When will 911 Lone Star Season 5 return with new episodes?

When does 911 Lone Star Season 5 premiere on FOX?

While CBS and NBC opted for normal fall schedules this year, FOX opted not to set a schedule. This decision was due ot the writers strike. Like ABC, FOX can see this strike going on for a long time and it’s going to severely impact production. Instead of putting the pressure on, FOX is looking at how things go.

With this in mind, we’re probably not going to see 911 Lone Star Season 5 until January 2024 at the earliest. It’s hard to make a call right now, though.

Who will return to 911 Lone Star Season 5?

We are expecting everyone to return, but maybe not as we’re used to seeing them. It’s Judd that we’re not too sure about. He opted to take early retirement at the end of the fourth season to care for his paralyzed son. However, there is a chance that he’ll end up needing to return to work at some point.

Here’s the cast that we’re expecting to see back:

  • Rob Lowe as Owen Strand
  • Ronen Rubinstein as Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand
  • Sierra McClain as Grace Ryder
  • Natacha Karam as Marjan Marwani
  • Brian Michael Smith as Paul Strickland
  • Rafael L. Silva as Carlos Reyes
  • Julian Works as Mateo Chavez
  • Gina Torres as Tommy Vega
  • Brianna Baker as Nancy Gillian
  • Kelsey Yates as Isabella “Izzy” Veg
  • Skyler Yates as Evie Vega
  • D. B. Woodside as Trevor

What to expect in 911 Lone Star Season 5

Of course, there are plenty of crazy calls that we’ll see the 126 attend to throughout the season. That’s pretty standard for this show.

When it comes to personal storylines, there’s a lot unknown at this point. We just have to look at how the fourth season ended to get an idea of where things could go next.

Judd’s storyline is certainly an important one. He’ll go from firefighter to caretaker, and that’s going to be a huge change in his roles. He may struggle with that, especially if Grace keeps putting herself in danger.

We’re sure to see more of Grace be the powerhouse that she is. Is there a chance we’ll see her move on from being a dispatcher to something else that’s in the field? She isn’t afraid to put herself in danger if it means catching a killer.

Then there’s Carlos’s storyline. We need to see more for him throughout this season. He’s shown that he is a great detective, but he’s chosen not to go down that route for his own personal reasons. Will that change as he realizes that he could do more good as a detective than he initially thought? Or could we end up seeing him follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Ranger?
