The San Antonio Spurs own the first pick of the NBA Draft tonight and every team knows who they’ll be drafting: The 7’2” French phenom, Victor Wembanyama.

The Wembanyama pick is inevitable at this point and has felt that way for the past few seasons leading up to tonight. He’s touted as arguably the best prospect of the decade putting up monster numbers in France’s top league this year.

While the decision around the first pick is all but already made, the Charlotte Hornets have a difficult decision at number two. They’re predicted to be choosing between the 19 year old G League prospect Scoot Henderson or the embattled Alabama star, Brandon Miller. Henderson became the youngest G league player in history when he decided to forgo college and sign with the NBA G League Ignite at the age of 17. Miller was undeniably one of the best players in college this season leading Alabama to a number one overall ranking going into the NCAA tournament. The Trailblazers will have the number three pick, most likely taking whoever is left of the two.

Overall, the most exciting part of draft day, and the days leading up to the draft, isn’t even the picks themselves, it’s the trades. Already we’ve seen the defending champion Nuggets trading to acquire a first rounder from the Pacers in exchange for a 2024 first round pick. Last night a three team blockbuster was agreed to where Kristaps Porzingis and a first round pick were sent to the Celtics in a deal that sent Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies. Other teams are reportedly looking to get back into the first round as well tonight, but only time will tell if they can get something done.

Whatever the case, there’s sure to be a lot of action tonight. Here’s where, when, and how to watch it live.
