When does The Flash come to Max? (Release date revealed)

There’s constantly new content when it comes to the DC Universe, whether that’s shows or movies. And as superhero fans, we definitely are not complaining! One production is The Flash movie which was released in theaters on June 16, 2023. When is it going to start streaming on Max?

The Flash finally got its own standalone feature film starring Ezra Miller as the titular superhero! When Barry travels back in time to save his family, he “inadvertently alters the future,” per the synopsis. He finds himself in a world where the threat of General Zod returns and there aren’t any other superheroes to turn to for help. Will he be able to reset the universe back to the way it’s supposed to be?

Joining Miller onscreen are Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton. Now that the film is on the big screens, when can we expect it to come to streaming? Read on below!

When does The Flash come to Max? (Release date)

AUGUST 18 UPDATE: The Flash will arrive to Max faster than you know it! HBO has revealed that the movie will be available to stream on on Friday, Aug. 25.

Since The Flash is a Warner Bros. movie, we know the production will be available to watch online on Max since the streaming service is owned by the company. The studio doesn’t have an exact amount of days it waits between a theatrical and streaming release. However, some of its most recent film debuts may give us an idea of when to expect The Flash.

For example, Shazam! Fury of the Gods started streaming 67 days after its cinematic debut, while Magic Mike’s Last Dance was much more at 112 days. However, most films do start streaming after the 60-ish days window. So for the The Flash, we expect the movie to start streaming sometime in August 2023 on Max. Hopefully the streamer will announce the date soon!
