Among Us TV series: Everything we know so far

We all know where we were then Among Us gained popularity for the first time. It was during the height of COVID-19, when we were left with nothing else to do but stay in the house and repair our video gaming skills. And, although the game definitely tested some friendships, everyone had nothing but gratitude toward the game for bringing us all together, no matter where we were in the world.

Years later, after many have since forgotten the game, Among Us has returned to get our attention. But not in the way you might think. This time, the video game is being adapted into an animated TV series that is sure to be popular amongst all audiences.

Without further ado, here’s everything we know so far about Among Us‘ upcoming TV series!

What will the Among Us TV series be about?

Just like in the video game, the TV series will follow the lives of crew members on a spaceship. Each crew member has their own set of tasks to ensure to flow of their mission. However, there’s one mysterious saboteur on the ship, aiming to not only thwart the mission but also to take the lives of each and everyone of their crewmates. Everyone must put their heads together to figure out just who the imposter is before it’s too late.

"Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs."

When will the Among Us TV series release?

For right now, we don’t have a release date for the series, as the title is still in the early development stages. Hopefully, we’ll know more before the end of the year. But we’ll have to wait patiently for more updates!

Among Us cast?

There are no official updates on the cast of the title just yet. We do know a few members of the crew, though! American animator Owen Dennis, known for the animated series Infinity Train, will serve as the creator and executive producer for the show. He will be working with CBS Eye Animation Productions (CBS Studios) to bring this vision to life.

Where will Among Us stream?

Some sources state that the Among Us TV series will stream on Paramount+. This statement is likely due the show being developed by CBS Studios. The company’s titles generally have a home on the streamer, but that’s not always case. We’ll have to wait a little longer to learn more about streaming updates.
