My Happy Marriage cast: Who’s in the anime series on Netflix?

Looking for a new romance to tune into in July? Netflix has you covered. My Happy Marriage, known as Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon in Japan, is coming to the streamer in July 5. The series, which is based on the light novel written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, has been adapted into a manga, a live-action film, and now an anime.
The story follows Miyo Saimori, a woman who was born into a loveless, arranged marriage. When she was a child, her mother died and her father decided to bring his lover and her child, Kaya, into their home. It’s at that point that Miyo’s life became that of a servant.
Kaya inherited psychic abilities when Miyo did not, positioning her ever higher in the esteem of the family while Miyo continued to be treated as worthless. It’s this treatment that has led our lead to hide the pain she’s experienced, keep her head down, and obey any order given to her.
To further their cruelty toward her, Miyo’s family decides to arrange a marriage between her and Kiyoka Kudou. The military captain is rumored to be cruel, so cruel that every potential wife he’s had has been run off. But, it turns out these rumors don’t encapsulate who the captain really he’s a kindhearted man who intends on providing his wife with a life full of happiness in their marriage.
It’s through their bond that Miyo begins to discover not only joy but also her true self and hidden powers. Here’s who voices each character in the anime.
