Streaming services are still heating up this summer as the Prime Video coming-of-age romantic drama The Summer I Turned Pretty returns. The series is an adaptation of show creator’s Jenny Han’s novel trilogy of the same name and has received enough positive acclaim to be considered a favorite among streaming audiences.
The drama is centered around the relationship between young teenagers Isabel Conklin (Lola Tung), Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney), and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno).
The plot closely follows Isabel, nicknamed “Belly.” During her annual summer vacation to their family friends’ beach house, Belly reunites with her brother and old friends Jeremiah and Conrad. During this vacation in the fictional Cousins Beach, she gets caught in a seemingly inescapable love triangle.

When do new episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty come out?
Season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty had a triple-episode premiere on July 14, which means the first two episodes, “Love Lost,” “Love Scene,” and “Love Sick” are available to stream right now! The show is following a weekly release schedule which means that episode 4 of the series will premiere on the platform on July 21. See below to see when future episodes are available to stream:
- Episode 4 – “Love Game”, July 21
- Episode 5 – “Love Fool”, July 28,
- Episode 6 – “Love Fest”, Aug. 4
- Episode 7 -“Love Affair”, Aug. 11
- Episode 8 – “Love Triangle”, Aug. 18
