The Prime Video series is one of the most popular on the streamer since the first season debuted, and now the excitement continues with the next chapter of the story out in the world. With the first few episodes now out, you might be wondering when the finale of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 is.

The coming-of-age romantic drama stars the trio who are at the center of the story – Lola Tung as Belly Conklin, Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher. Rounding out the cast are Jackie Chung as Laurel Park, Rachel Blanchard as Susannah Fisher, Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin, Alfredo Narciso as Cleveland Castillo, Minnie Mills as Shayla, and more.

The show follows Belly, a teen who gets wrapped into a love triangle with two brothers, Christopher and Gavin. And this is also when she’s decide “once and for all” which brother she’s going to choose.

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 premieres Friday, Aug. 18, 2023 on Prime Video. The second season has a total of eight episodes, which is one more than the seven-episode season 1. The first season was also a binge drop with all the installments released at the same time. But with season 2, we’ve moved to a weekly schedule after the first three episodes began streaming on premiere day. We provided a breakdown of the schedule for the remaining episodes below:

Will there be a season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty?

At this time, we don’t know if there is going to be a season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty. There’s been no official confirmation from Prime Video yet. However there’s been rumors that production was set to start in June 2023. If that’s true, there may be a delay now that the writers strike and the actors strike are happening.

Though we wouldn’t be surprised if the streaming service decides to bring the show back for a third, and perhaps final, season. That’s because the series is based on a trilogy of books of the same name by author Jenny Han. The romantic drama has adapted one book per season so far. So we’ll just have to wait and see what Prime Video decides!
