Actor Angus Cloud has died, according to a report from TMZ.

On Monday, July 31, 2023, TMZ reported Cloud passed away at his family’s home in Oakland, California. Cloud’s family confirmed his death in a statement to TMZ. He was 25 years old.

"“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”"

According to TMZ, no cause of death has been reported. Cloud’s reportedly father passed away recently. Cloud posted a picture of his father on Instagam two weeks ago with the caption “miss u breh.”

Cloud is best known for playing Fez in HBO’s Euphoria. He starred as the character in the first two seasons of the series. He was lined up for an even bigger in Euphoria season 3, although production has not started on season 3 yet.

Cloud’s run on the HBO drama began in 2019 when the first season of the series premiered. Cloud also appeared in the show’s second season, which began in January 2022. Cloud also appeared in two Euphoria specials released in 2020 and 2021. Over those two seasons, Cloud appeared in 16 episodes of Euphoria, all but two episodes of the full series so far.

He’s also known for roles in The Line and North Hollywood, along with a new campaign with Puma.

Cloud just celebrated his 25th birthday in July 2023. The actor was born on July 10, 1998, in Oakland.
