Hoffman Family Gold sneak peek: Tater and Randy work together on the transmission

Sometimes, things just don’t go to plan. That’s the case in the latest episode of Hoffman Family Gold when the transmission breaks.

When our transmissions fail, we take our cars to the mechanic. In fact, in most cases, it means a whole new car because the transmission isn’t worth fixing due to the costs. That’s not the case when it comes to digging for gold.

The Hoffmans need to get to the bottom of the problem. Fortunately, they know their trucks. Randy and Tater end up working together to fix a broken transmission, which is more than just fixing the part. There’s another problem to get over.

We have a sneak peek of the new episode that airs on Friday, Aug. 4 on Discovery and discovery+. We get to see the two men work together.

In a lot of cases, this could lead to some arguments. Everyone has a different idea about how to fix things, and there is a lot of pressure to get the job done as quickly as possible. That’s not the case when it’s Randy and Tater working together.

I love watching the two of them discuss ideas and then supporting each other when it comes to a good one. “Smart man” is the praise given between the two.

Todd is happy to see the two guys get to work. He sees that they can work together well so is leaving them to it. He just wants to know if something doesn’t work, and that’s fair enough. We get to see the trust he has in his guys, and that’s something else to adore about Hoffman Family Gold.
