When is the What We Do in the Shadows season 5 finale?

Who’s loving What We Do in the Shadows season 5 so far? I sure am! I love the twist that human familiar Guillermo is now a half vampire. And so that’s why he’s been avoiding his bestie Nandor. But this is only hurting the “full vampire,” leading him to make a new friend at the gym. But the way Nandor approaches that new friend may be a bit much. But that’s what makes Nandor, Nandor! We’re loving the story, but you may be wondering when the season finale is?

The mockumentary style series stars Kayvan Novak as Nandor, Matt Berry as Laszlo, Natasia Demetriou as Nadja, Mark Proksch as Colin, Harvey Guillén as Guillermo, and vampire bureaucrat acquaintance Kristen Schaal as The Guide.

Don’t you worry, we’re only halfway through the season so far as of Aug. 3, 2023! The What We Do in the Shadows season 5 finale is Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023. This will be episode 10.

The comedy horror premiered on July 13 with the first two episodes on Hulu. New installments are also released weekly at 10 p.m. ET on FX until the finale. We provided the release schedule for the remaining episodes below:

• Episode 6, “Urgent Care” – Aug. 10
• Episode 7, “Hybrid Creatures” – Aug. 17

The fifth episode, titled “Local News,” brings unwanted attention to the vampires when a local water main breaks, per the synopsis. Episode 6, “Urgent Care,” will see Nadja taking care of Guillermo when he’s injured and Colin trouble feeding.

The What We Do in the Shadows season 5 finale will be released Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023 on FX and on Hulu.
