The beloved best-selling romance novel Red, White & Royal Blue finally comes to life on screen with the release of the Prime Video film adaptation. It’s safe to say that beside Barbie, this might be one of the most highly anticipated new movies of summer 2023.

In the film, the First Son of the United States and the Prince of England’s long-time rivalry takes a turn for the romantic following a public spat’s damage control. Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitizine lead the movie as Alex and Henry, and they’re joined by an excellent ensemble.

Zakhar Perez stars in Red, White & Royal Blue as Alex Gabriel Claremont-Diaz, the First Son of the United States. As the son of the president and a senator, he has his own political aspirations. Of course, he has charisma and charm to spare, though his place on the Claremont reelection campaign gets put in jeopardy due to his headline-grabbing personal life. In the book, he’s the youngest of two, but his older sister June isn’t featured in the movie.

He’s a wealthy philanthropist, and in the book, he’s got a crush on Alex’s sister, but in the movie, he calls Nora “exquisite.”
