Temptation Island: Are Hall and Makayla still together? (August 2023 update)

As if things weren’t already intense, Temptation Island season 5 episode 8, properly titled “Are You Serious, Hall?,” sure kicked things up a notch and then some! There were tears, heartbreak, and more betrayal. But the main question on our minds is — are Hall and Makayla still together? Spoilers ahead!

Last week’s episode of Temptation Island, left viewers with a huge cliffhanger. After watching Kaitlin’s heartfelt video, Hall asked to see her in person. Fans spent all week wondering if Hall going to break up with Kaitlin or decide to leave the island with her. Well, unfortunately, for Kaitlin, Hall broke things up.

Hall’s excuse was that he found his soulmate in Makayla, sharing that he never felt love from Kaitlin. Ouch! Are you serious, Hall? Kaitlin was doing just fine before Hall came begging for her back. All to just leave Kaitlin as soon as he has feeling for another person? A person Hall met days ago? To be fair, Kaitlin should not have suggested they go on the USA Network reality show, so…

Are Hall and Makayla still together after Temptation Island?

Was it worth it, Hall? Are Hall and Makayla still together? We’ve done some digging so you don’t have to! Final spoiler alert!

As it turns out, Hall and Makayla do leave the island together. Even more surprisingly, is the fact that they are still together in the reunion episode. But the reunion was filmed about six months ago in early March 2023, so a lot could have happened since! Hall and Makayla are masters at keeping secrets, but there are a few posts on their Instagram accounts that give it away. From shadows of each other hiding in their posts to Hall’s sister following Makayla on Instagram. Our bet is that the two are still together, but time will tell! Now that the season is over, we’re sure they will both update fans.

If Hall and Makayla are still together, they are doing a superb job hiding it! Hall’s Instagram, for the most part, is full of wholesome family videos. He seems to be all about family. Meanwhile, Makayla is living her best life! All of her posts are selfies and model shots, and a few with her friends. Bottom line, while we weren’t expecting to find any images or videos of Hall and Makayla together, there isn’t even a hint that they are in the same place at the same time. Their lifestyles are also very different. It looks like they aren’t soulmates, after all.

Now, do you think Hall and Kaitlin got back together? We did some research and there’s a stronger chance Hall and Kaitlin are dating than there is of Hall and Makayla together. I’ll be honest, though, I would be very disappointed to learn Kaitlin took Hall back once more.
