The last time the Kansas City Chiefs went to the Super Bowl

Their win at Superbowl LVII in 2022 should be fresh in football fans’ memory. The Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes (who was also the MVP of the big game), faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles at State Farm Stadium in Arizona. It was a tight game with the Chiefs launching an upset in the second half with kicker Harrison Butker pushing his team into their win thanks to a field goal that brought the score to 38-35.

The last time the New Orleans Saints went to the Super Bowl

It’s been 13 years since the Saints played at the Super Bowl. In fact, their 2010 appearance at Super Bowl XLIV was their first and only time at the championship. They went up against the Indianapolis Colts at Sun Life Stadium (now Hard Rock Stadium) in Florida. The Saints were considered to be the underdogs, but they overcame the odds, defeating the Colts by 14 points with a score of 31-17. Quarterback Drew Brees was named MVP.

The last time the San Francisco 49ers went to the Super Bowl

The 49ers’ last appearance at the Super Bowl was in 2020 when they went up against the Kansas City Chiefs at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. Super Bowl LIV did not end in the 49ers’ favor. The Chiefs won by 11 points with a score of 31-20. Prior to this appearance, it’d been seven years since the 49ers played in the big game. Over the course of the franchise’s history, they’ve been conference champions seven times and are 5-time Super Bowl champs. Their last Super Bowl win, however, was in 1994–nearly 30 years ago. Their best League-winning seasons were predominately in the ’80s.

The last time the Las Vegas Raiders went to the Super Bowl

The Raiders haven’t been to the Super Bowl since their move to Las Vegas. However, in terms of their franchise long history, their last appearance was in 2003–20 years ago. They went up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII at Qualcomm Stadium and lost. The score was 48-21. This was the only league championship game that the Raiders have lost. They’ve been conference champions thrice and have won the Super Bowl twice. Their latest victory was in 1980, 43 years ago, at Super Bowl XV against the Philadelphia Eagles.
