Neighbours: A New Chapter, the continuation series that picks up where its predecessor Neighbours left off, premieres in September! The original show which ran for over three decades was a well-regarded Australian soap opera that launched the careers of Hollywood darling Margot Robbie and global superstar Kylie Minogue as well as Guy Pearce and Russell Crowe.
It was a sad affair when the show bid adieu in 2022 due to the UK broadcaster, Channel 5, deciding to drop the program which triggered a cancellation. However, a few months later the show’s production company, Fremantle Australia, struck up a partnership deal with Amazon Freeve to continue the show, thus Neigbours: A New Chapter was conceived.

The next leg of the Neighbours story will premiere on Monday, Sept. 18 on Amazon Freevee.
Can you watch Neighbours: A New Chapter for free?
Yes, through Freevee! However, that’s only in the US and the UK. To access the series outside of those regions, you’ll need to have Prime Video.
Is Neighbours: A New Chapter available to stream in Australia?
Yes! Though, as mentioned above, because the series is only available to watch for free in the US and the UK, you’ll need a subscription to Prime Video. Other countries the show will be available to stream in: Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa.

The series will release new episodes Monday-Friday on Amazon Freevee starting Sept. 18.
How long are Neighbours: A New Chapter episodes?
The original series had 22 minute episodes. A runtime for the continuation hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s likely the episodes will also be about 22 minutes or they’ll run as half-hour programming on the streamer. We’ll update this section once more information comes in.
