The National Football League has been engrained in the fabric of American culture for decades now. However, the sport has gone global, becoming a worldwide piece of popular culture. The narrative has transformed how we consume the sport we love, transitioning from rabbit ears to satellite television and digital streaming services.

Many game fans wonder if one popular streaming service, Peacock, will be streaming the NFL Network this fall. For one, Peacock is owned by NBC, which owns the right to air NFL games on Sunday nights with the popular programming Sunday Night Football and their Football Night in America show.

So, you can watch the NFL on Sundays with the Peacock application. Furthermore, Peacock did buy the exclusive right to one NFL playoff game this year. According to Scripps News Service:

"The NFL announced Monday that NBC Universal has earned the rights to air a wild card weekend playoff game exclusively on its Peacock streaming service. It marks the first time an NFL postseason matchup will be available to consumers digitally rather than on a national broadcast or cable network. The Peacock exclusive game — which NBC reportedly paid $100 million for — will air on Saturday, Jan. 13, at either 8:15 or 8:30 p.m. ET. It will still be broadcast on NBC stations in the markets of the two competing teams, but viewers outside those markets will have to subscribe to Peacock if they want to watch. The game will also be available digitally for subscribers of NFL+."

Can you watch the NFL Network on Peacock?

According to CableTV.com, No, Peacock doesn’t include NFL Network amongst its 50+ live channels, but you can stream NFL Channel on Peacock. The ad-based channel shows content from the NFL Films library—including classic.

Where can I watch the NFL Network?

According to CableTV.com,”You can stream NFL Network through most live TV streaming services, like FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV. The live channel is also available to all NFL+ subscribers.”

If you are a satellite subscriber, NFL Network is also available to you with services like Dish and DirecTV.

Does DirecTV have the NFL Sunday Ticket package?

No, the long-time provider of the popular Sunday gameday football package lost the rights to air those individual Sunday games in one lump sum this year.

While DirecTV will still offer the popular Red Zone channel at an extra cost, you can only watch regularly scheduled games with this service.

Where can I now purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket?

YouTube is now the home of the popular Sunday gameday football package! The NFL has prioritized transitioning its brand and product to streaming services and being aware of satellite providers.

For example, the NFL now offers Thursday Night Football on Prime Video exclusively on Amazon’s streaming entertainment service.

Currently, you can purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket for $299 dollars, which is the current promotional price. You can also bundle the product with the NFL RedZone on YouTube TV for an additional 40 dollars.

However, there is a catch. In order to watch the NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube Television, there is a requirement to have a YouTube TV base plan. That cost is an additional $72.99 per month.
