Once Upon a Time was a magical show in more ways than one! From the story, to the characters, and even changing the way Disney princesses are portrayed. It was one of a kind, especially when it first started, and began a wonderful trend of showing how princesses can be strong and independent too! After it came to an end in 2018, the show started streaming on Disney+. With it now coming to Hulu, is Once Upon a Time being removed from Disney+?

We start the story with Snow White and Prince Charming having a daughter, Emma Swan. Because of the Evil Queen and to protect her, Emma is sent to our world alone and grows up an orphan, while her parents and the rest of fairytale land are cursed in the real world without their real memories. And, its prophesied that when she turns 28, she’ll find everyone and break the curse.

The show will make its debut on Hulu starting on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023. All seven seasons will be added to the platform. I mean who doesn’t want to see what happens after “happily ever after?” That’s basically the premise of the series, and it’s such a smart one!

With the series being added to Hulu, you’re probably wondering if you’ll still be able to enjoy it on Disney+. We’ve got the answer for you below!

Is Once Upon a Time being removed from Disney+? (Is OUAT leaving Disney+?)

No, Once Upon a Time is not being removed from Disney+. All seven seasons will continue to stream on both the current platform, as well as on Hulu. So OUAT is not leaving Disney+. Phew, right!?

It’s great that the company has decided to bring the fantasy series to Hulu as well. While it’s about some of our favorite fairytale characters from the Disney classics we grew up with, it’s definitely a show for adults to enjoy as well. So on Hulu, some of the more mature audience who might be on there will now be exposed to it. And the more people watching, the better of course! OUAT is one of the best shows ever made, and it definitely deserves to continue being recognized.

Once Upon a Time begins streaming all seven seasons Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 on Hulu. The show will continue to stream in its entirety on Disney+ as well.
