FROM season 3 release date, strike delay, cast and what else to know!

The series FROM, The Godfather of Harlem, and The Winter King have become signature branded content for the newly minted streaming network MGM+ (rebranded from the cable network Epix). Starring Lost star Harold Perrineau, the series has an addictive premise for a show about a small town. Here is the synopsis of FROM:

"In a nightmarish town in Middle America that traps those who enter, unwilling residents strive to stay alive and search for a way out, plagued by terrifying nocturnal creatures from the surrounding forest and secrets hidden in the town."

Perrineau plays a sheriff named Boyd, who is trapped inside the city of Township with other residents, and there’s no way out. Boy and his company are surrounded by a lush green forest with monsters that are bloodthirsty and have bad tempers.

The end of the second season was a jaw-dropper, with many characters coming face to face with a sobering reality. And that begs the question: When is FROM returning for a third season?

Is FROM renewed?

On July 29, 2023, it was announced by series creator and showrunner Jack Bender that the series was renewed for a third season. However, there were always signs that the season was in preproduction because Decider reported that the production union had already begun prior to the announcement.

FROM season 3 plot details

Since it appears that Tabitha has broken through the supernatural wall, keeping the residents at bay, the character will play a key role in helping others escape from the horror and blood-splattered bubble.

Is FROM season 3 filming?

Decider also reported that production was supposed to begin in July and run to December, but due to the writes and actors strikes, filming has been delayed.

FROM season 3 release date predictions

The third season likely won’t premiere until mid to late 2024. Typically, the series debuts new seasons within the first few months of the year, but with the filming delay it’ll get pushed further into 2024. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes in.
