My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 cast: Who stars in the new comedy?

The Portokalos family is back! Get ready to see them on the big screen Friday, Sept. 8, 2023. What’s next for this wonderfully hilarious Greek family? Who’s the next to get married? We’re going to find out soon enough! But the question we’re asking now is who stars in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3?

The third film is taking the whole family on a trip to their homeland – Greece! Everyone packs up and heads to the beautiful country to visit their ancestral home to “honor the past, present, and future,” as well as “rediscover their roots,” per the synopsis. When the family is sent an invitation to return home for a family reunion, this is the perfect opportunity for them to go back. And with the passing of Toula’s father, Gus, she can fulfill his wish of finding his best friends and passing on his journal to them.

The first movie was such a hit, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for our favorite family. So who’s returning? Which actors are new to the franchise? We’ve got the answer for you below!

The good news is that many of the original cast members star in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. Those include Nia Vardalos as Toula, John Corbett as Toula’s husband Ian, Elena Kampouris as their daughter Paris, Louis Mandylor as Toula’s brother Nick, Lainie Kazan as Toula’s mother Maria, Andrea Martin as Toula’s Aunt Voula, and more.

Three new cast members join the iconic ensemble. Those are Elis Kacavas, known for his role as Young Cal in Euphoria season 2 and Greg in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin; Stephanie Nur who plays Aaliyah in Special Ops: Lioness; and Melina Kotselou. Check out the full cast list below:

• Elias Kacavas as Aristotle, Paris’ potential love interest who she ghosted after one date
• Melina Kotselou as Victory, the Greek village’s mayor
• Stephanie Nur as Qamar

Unfortunately we’re not going to see the return of Michael Constantine as Gus, Toula’s father. The actor passed away in 2021at the age of 94 due to natural causes. Among leading the cast, Vardalos also directed the movie and wrote the script.
