911 Lone Star Season 5 is not coming to FOX in September 2023

It’s a long and hot summer, and it’s even worse knowing that we won’t get a normal fall. When will 911 Lone Star Season 5 premiere on FOX?

When FOX didn’t release a fall schedule in May, we weren’t that surprised. The writers strike had just started, and FOX decided to see how things would play out. It wasn’t too long before we saw the way things were going.

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that 911 Lone Star Season 5 is not on the list of premieres on FOX this month. It’s not that we’re used to seeing this show premiere in the fall anyway, but we had hoped there would be a change as the parent series 911 moves to ABC. However, the writers strike and now the actors strike have stopped all production.

When will 911 Lone Star Season 5 premiere on FOX?

As of now, we can’t say when we can expect the series to return. The strike action continues. We’re passed the Labor Day Weekend deadline, which suggests we may not even get 13 episodes to the broadcast shows this year. It’s going to be a tense run of episodes for all shows.

There is some good news, though. FOX has updated it’s fall schedule as I Can See Your Voice is now being pushed to the midseason. This has opened up a slot, so FOX is going to air reruns of 911 Lone Star throughout the fall. It’s not clear which season of the series it will be, but we’ll get episodes on Tuesdays at 9/8c after Name That Tune.

FOX isn’t the only network using reruns as a way to fill the gaps and keep regular viewers tuned in. NBC and CBS both have reruns lined up.

The 911 Lone Star reruns will arrive this month. We’ll see the reruns start on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
