Updated: Sept. 21, 2023 – NCIS fans, get ready! A new entry to the franchise is making its premiere this fall. You’ve likely heard rumblings about NCIS: Sydney, but with the show promised to the international market at the time, it seemed like US fans of the franchise wouldn’t get to check out the series ourselves until a later date. Turns out that’s not going to be the case!

The Aussie iteration of the beloved franchise is coming to CBS and is slotting right into the network’s Fall TV line-up for 2023. So we’ll be getting more than reruns of the flagship while the Hollywood strikes continue. Sydney‘s addition to the roster marks CBS’ first new scripted offering for the fall as the other scripted programming has already ran for seasons either on the network itself, Paramount+, or elsewhere.

NCIS: Sydney release date

The series will make its debut Friday, Nov. 10 on Paramount+ Australia. Its broadcast premiere in the States is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Will NCIS: Sydney stream on Paramount+ in the US?

Yes! Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers will be able to stream new episodes live and on-demand starting Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. Essential subscribers will have access to new episodes the following day starting Nov. 15.

What is NCIS: Sydney about?

The synopsis via CBS:

"With rising international tensions in the Indo-Pacific, a brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multinational taskforce to keep naval crimes in check in the most contested patch of ocean on the planet."

Was NCIS: Sydney filmed in Australia?

Yes, the series was filmed in Australia. In fact, Sydney is the backdrop for the crime drama just as the title states. Now to Love, an Australian outlet, reports filming locations include a North Bondi car park and the Bondi beach.

When is the NCIS: Sydney season finale on CBS? (predictions)

If CBS runs the series through to January, taking a two week hiatus for Christmas and New Year’s, the finale will air on Jan. 15. This, however, is unconfirmed and we will update this section and the one below once a finale date is announced.
