When is The Chi season 6 part 1 finale on Paramount+ and Showtime?

We’ve almost reached the halfway point of The Chi season 6! And when we do, there’s going to be a break until the rest of the episodes stream and air on television. So when is the season 6 part 1 finale?

On Sept. 1, 2023 (and Sept. 3 on Showtime), episode 5, “One of Them Nights” came out on Paramount+. The episode saw the younger characters getting ready and then going to prom, and Kevin getting an incredible offer. This means he’ll need to leave the Windy City and head for Los Angeles to join a gaming house. And by the end of the episode, we see that he decides to do just that.

Elsewhere, Douda gives Bakari one of his cars to go to prom, and Bakari discovers a bag of guns in the trunk. He takes them and asks Rashaad to keep the weapons. As the episode comes to an end, Bakari and Lynae are taken into custody because the car is stolen. But they’re released when their families arrive. This isn’t going to be good for Bakari, as Jamal and Papa probably aren’t going to put up with him and his association with Douda much longer.

There’s still a good deal of story to go, and we can’t even imagine what’s coming in the midseason finale. When is it going to be out? We’ve got the answer for you below!

When is The Chi season 6 part 1 finale on Paramount+ and Showtime?

The Chi season 6 part 1 finale begins streaming Friday, Sept. 22, 2023 on Paramount+ and airs on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime. New episodes of the drama are released weekly on Fridays and Sundays on each respective platform. There’s a total of 16 episodes this season, with episode 8, “Who Shot Ya?” serving as the midseason finale. We shared the episode release schedule for the remaining episodes of part 1 below:

• Episode 7, “Long Live” – Sept. 15

When is The Chi season 6 part 2 coming out on Paramount+ and Showtime?

At the time of this writing on Sept. 7, 2023, a premiere date for The Chi season 6 part 2 has not been shared yet.
