The horror universe for tweens has spawned multiple productions, and the latest is a new Goosebumps television series!

The show was created by executive producers Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman. Hilary Winston, Neal H. Moritz, Iole Lucchese, conor Welch, Caitlin Friedman, Erin O’Malley, and Kevin Murphy also take on EP duties. Here’s everything we know about the new production ahead of its release!

Is Disney making a Goosebumps series?

It was announced in 2020 that the show was in development by Sony Pictures Television, as well as Original Film and Scholastic Entertainment, the latter of which is the publishing company behind the book series. Disney Brand Television was also a part of the behind-the scenes process, which means the House of Mouse is one of the companies involved.

Goosebumps TV series release date

The Goosebumps TV series will begin streaming on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. Read on below to see where you can watch it and what the release schedule looks like!

Goosebumps where to stream (Is Goosebumps on Disney+?)

Goosebumps will be released on Disney+ and Hulu, as well as partly on Freeform. The spooky show will serve as part of the “Hallowstream,” “Huluween,” and “31 Nights of Halloween” celebrations on each platform.

Disney, which owns both Disney+ and Hulu, has been experimenting with sharing its content across both platforms. For example, all seven seasons of Once Upon a Time were added to Hulu on Sept. 1, and continue to stream on Disney+ as well. This is great as certain content can reach a wider audience, including this new series!
