Last Thursday night, the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs kicked off the 2023 season in primetime with a special presentation of Thursday Night Football on NBC. And what an amazing game it was!

Heading into the night, everyone thought the Chiefs would walk away with an easy victory over the Lions; however, that’s what made the events of the game that much more exciting! Right out of the gate, it became clear that the Lions came to play. While the Chiefs rallied, the Lions pulled off an upset picking up their first win of the season while handing the Chiefs their first loss in the process.

It was an amazing way to kick off the season and paved the way for a week full of surprising upsets. Now, Week 2 is upon us and this week’s Thursday night game promises to be yet another must-see game.
