Dumb Money movie cast: Who stars in the comedy?

It’s the crazy true story of how some ordinary people were able to get rich in what seemed like overnight thanks to their strategic thinking when it comes to the stock market. The movie Dumb Money begins playing Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 in all theaters.

Certain ones get an early release on Friday, Sept. 15, with more added to the list on Friday, Sept. 22. Be sure to check your local cinema to see when the film is playing. The comedy-drama is based on the book “The Antisocial Network” by author Ben Mezrich.

So how did these people get rich all of a sudden? They were able to turn GameStop into “the world’s hottest company,” per the synopsis. One of those is Keith Gill who put his life savings into the company’s stock and posts about it online. When he gets a following, things get interesting. “As a stock tip becomes a movement,” he starts to make money, that is until the billionaires start to fight back.
