Who does Nicole Beharie play on The Morning Show season 3?

The Morning Show season 3 premiered on Sept. 13, 2023. And even though only the first three episodes of the 10-episode season have been released up until this point, we’re already jumping in to all the drama and major challenges UBA are facing. The third episode, “White Noise” focuses on Nicole Beharie’s character. Who does the actress play in the series?

Beharie was born Jan. 3, 1985 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Since her father was in the United States Foreign Service, the family moved around a lot to places like the U.K., Jamaica, and Nigeria. The actress went to Julliard School and did training in England.

The 38-year-old is known for her roles in films as Dee Roberts in American Violet, Marianne in Shame, and Turquoise Jones in Miss Juneteenth. On television, she’s most recognized as Abbie Mills/Witness in FOX supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow.

Who does Nicole Beharie play on The Morning Show season 3?

Nichole Beharie plays Christina Hunter, aka Chris, on The Morning Show season 3. The actress has been brought on as a series regular, so it seems like there’s lots of story to tell with her character. In episode 3, which started streaming on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, we already started to focus on the new character even more.

The first two episodes featured the new Morning Show news anchor briefly, but we didn’t really get into who she is until now. The third episode continues the story of UBA being cyber attacked, which leads to certain information about the company and its employees like a private message Bradley sent Laura being leaked, as well as staff salaries, which show people of color being paid less, revealed.

The main focus of the story though is Chris. In his efforts to sell UBA to Paul Marks, Cory leaks emails between the company’s board. That includes a racist remark made by board president Cybil Reynolds about Chris. And, she’s being paid less than when Bradley held the same position because of her race.

The episode really shows how talented Beharie is and how she’s a great addition to the cast. She portrays a strong character, and we’re so glad the series decided to bring in the actress and write in the new character! What do you think about Beharie as Chris?
