It’s a fantasy come to life! Literally. Be sure to mark you calendars for Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023 when all nine episodes of reality series Love in Fairhope drop on Hulu. What is the new show all about?

The cast includes 20-year-old Mya Jo Williams, 31-year-old Olivia Ogletree, 32-year-old Abby Mannich, 41-year-old LaShoundra Young, and 73-year-old Claiborne Walsh. Heather Graham serves as narrator, and Reese Witherspoon executive produces as her production company, Hello Sunshine, is one of the companies producing the romantic series.

Love in Fairhope chronicles the life, and most importantly love, stories of five women who are at different ages. And the backdrop of it all is the “enchanting” town of Fairhope, Alabama, per the synopsis. The different generations of women will face new beginnings, second chances, breakups, and breakthroughs. Meet the ladies: Love in Fairhope cast on Hulu

• Mya Jo is returning back to her hometown after finishing college and “secretly” hopes that her childhood crush Nick will finally see her as more than a friend. But things take a turn when she finds out Nick has a new girlfriend. And, Mya Jo’s high school boyfriend Kirk “unexpectedly” returns.
• Olivia has been searching for a partner for years as she’s ready to have a child. But as time went on she gave up and decided to focus on growing the family business. But a chance encounter with her childhood crush changes things. Now, Olivia and Tori start dating and have to learn how to navigate a “gay relationship in the Bible Belt of America.”
• Abby had it all – living in a big city with the perfect job and the perfect man. Though suddenly it all changes and she has to come back to her hometown. And that leads to her getting “sucked back into a spin cycle” with ex-boyfriend and the town bad boy Trevor. But she doesn’t want to repeat past mistakes, so her “soul-searching journey” ends up leading Abby to the happily-ever-after “she never saw coming.”
• LaShoundra is the wife of the town pastor, and her husband made some “risky business decisions” that make her question her trust in him. When she decides to get a divorce from Kendall, LaShoundra now has to learn how to be a single mother and what it means to be single in a small town “at mid-life.”
• Claiborne is recently widowed after over 50 years of marriage. The artist and poet “prides herself on romantic wisdom.” But that knowledge is put to the test when she herself is back in the dating game. Thankfully she’s got her single best friends and daughter Aleen to help her out through learning how to “multitask men,” and what to do after bing cat-fished and broken up with via text. Eventually though, Claiborne “finds the love she never knew she needed.”
