Naked Attraction on Max: How does the controversial dating series work?

A reality dating show has quietly been added to Max. And after reading about it and checking it out, we can see why! Let’s just say, UK’s Naked Attraction holds back no punches and bares it all. No, literally. Participants put it all on the line. And we mean ALL.

Now, this isn’t a new-new series. It premiered on the UK in 2016 and is hosted by Anna Richardson. Currently, season 7 is airing on Channel 4. And, honestly, I’m surprised it has aired for as many seasons as it has (and still going). Will it be as successful in the states? Six seasons are available to stream on Max for US viewers.

What is Naked Attraction on Max about and how does it work?

Here’s what’s so controversial about it. The way it works, is the main participant is presented with potential dates, all lined up to be judged based on their looks. Oh, and did we mention they are all completely naked? Yes, it’s as brutal as it sounds. These contestants are not holding back!

During a time we are all trying to be more body positive, you’d think Max would stay away from a show like this. Could they be testing the waters and considering doing a US version? It could happen if enough people watch the available seasons and express interest. Personally, I hope not! But I gotta give the participants credit for being brave enough to appear on this show.
