The Boys has been one of Prime Video’s wildest shows. Based on the long-running comic book by Garth Ennis, the series shows a world where superheroes are selfish, vain, brutal and borderline sociopathic figures backed by the sinister Vought International corporation. It’s become notable for its shocking adult content and the show has sharp writing.
Gen V is set at Godolkin University, which is supposed to teach the new generation of superheroes how to manage their powers. In reality, it’s so Vought can tell which ones appeal to the public and can be easily manipulated for their own means. As these kids try to decide if they’re going to be heroes or villains, some of them start to realize the sinister secrets of Vought, which can lead to a massive clash for “graduation.”

The Boys spin-off makes its debut on Friday, Sept. 29 at 12 a.m. UTC. Due to the time difference, American audiences will get to watch Gen V a bit earlier. The first three episodes will release on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT in the U.S. So, if you’d like to settle in for a binge of the show’s episodes, you definitely can do that.
