We’ve made it to another weekend, and for millions across the country, that means it’s time to settle in for more football! The NFL season is in full swing now, and unsurprisingly it’s been super eventful. We’ve seen some unfortunate injuries, unexpected wins, and even major celebrities showing up in attendance. (Yes, we’re talking about Taylor Swift!) Overall, it’s been another great start to the season and the Super Bowl is still anyone’s game as we inch closer to the final months of the year.

Tonight’s game for Sunday Night Football will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey (yes, unfortunately, we don’t have an NYC football stadium) which will no doubt be an exciting game to tune into. Of course, Aaron Rodgers will not be playing for the Jets tonight after his torn Achilles injury at the start of the season, but sources say he might be making an appearance at the game.

How to watch Sunday Night Football

If you’re looking forward to watching tonight’s airing of Sunday Night Football, then read on to learn how to watch and other details about the game. It will certainly be a talked-about game, regardless of the score!

As in past years, Sunday Night Football will air on NBC and that’s no exception for tonight’s game. The Chiefs and Jets will begin playing at 8:20 p.m. ET, so be sure to get the snacks ready ahead of time! If you have cable, the simplest way to tune in would be to turn on the channel NBC before kickoff, and if you don’t have cable but are subscribed to NBC’s streaming service Peacock, you can stream the game live using the app.

Don’t have cable or Peacock? Don’t worry. You’ll need to be subscribed to a live TV platform to watch Sunday Night Football this evening, for example YouTube TV, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, or Sling TV, among others. A subscription to a live TV service like this will allow you to access the channel NBC and in turn, every Sunday Night Football game.

If you plan on tuning in to Sunday Night Football for the rest of the season, we’d highly recommend subscribing to Peacock or a service that provides the channel NBC. It’ll be way easier to stream that way.

Taylor Swift expected to attend Chiefs vs. Jets game

This evening’s NFL game is expected to be a talked-about one because of the attendance list, with Taylor Swift reportedly making an appearance. In case you missed it, the Grammy-winning singer showed up at the Chiefs game last weekend when they played the Chicago Bears, and she sat in a box with Travis Kelce’s mom!

The musician is now romantically linked to the tight end, with her appearance at the game serving as the culmination of several weeks of gossip. Kelce very openly has wanted to pursue Swift and has had no issue talking about shooting his shot with her on his and his brother’s podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce.

All eyes are on the game tonight to see what Swift will be up to, and if any new videos and photos of her and the NFL player surface online (my bet is they will). Her expected appearance has become such a big deal, that it’s even been reported that friendship bracelets in honor of Swift and Kelce’s budding relationship are being handed out at MetLife.

NBC is taking full advantage of this potential romance, with the Sunday Night Football official X (formerly known as Twitter) account sharing a promo for tonight’s game with Swift’s “Welcome to New York” playing. Of course, it fits extra well seeing as the Chiefs are playing the Jets in New York New Jersey. (Close enough.)

It’s bound to be a star-studded event this evening, and you don’t want to miss it! We’ll continue to cover the TV schedule for all the NFL games this season, so check back with us at Hidden Remote if you need to know who’s playing and how to watch.
