Loki Season 2 release schedule: When do new episodes come out on Disney+?

Since 2011’s Thor, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has been a complex figure. While originally a villain leading an alien invasion of Earth in The Avengers, he slowly redeemed himself by aiding Thor in several movies. It paid off with Loki dying at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

During the “time heist” in Avengers: Endgame, an earlier version of Loki managed to escape into the time stream. In his own series, he was captured by the Time Variance Authority, an organization that oversees the timelines. That had Loki tracking and then working with a female version of himself called Sylvie.

Season 1 ended with the pair confronting He Who Remains, aka Kang (Jonathan Majors), who tried to maintain the timelines. Sylvie killed him, creating a new wave of alternate timelines and Loki returned to a new TVA where no one knew him.

Season 2 now has Loki trying to fix this mess, hunting Sylvie and running into new versions of Kang. He also has to handle “blipping” through time. It’s a wild tale, but it’s likely Loki handles it in his own unique fashion. So when can fans enjoy the new episodes of the series?

Interestingly, rather than releasing two episodes together as with several past MCU or Star Wars shows, Disney+ will have the Season 2 premiere on its own streaming Thursday, October 5 at 6/5c. New installments then air each Wednesday, with the Season 2 finale on November 9, per Games Radar.

As you can see, the episode titles have not yet been announced for the upcoming episodes. With the second season coming in at six episodes, fans can expect a short but fun ride for season 2 and the promise these six episodes provide the wild entertainment only the God of Mischief can provide.
