With ABC’s Golden Bachelor underway, fans are dying to know more about the contestants of this reality series, especially since they have very intriguing lives outside of the show. One of these contestants is none other than Joan Vassos, a contestant that you may have seen once or twice in the background and a couple of times front and center.

Joan leaves The Golden Bachelor in Week 3

UPDATE Oct. 12, 2023: The third episode of the season, unfortunately, saw Joan self-eliminating and going home. But don’t worry, she didn’t get into a fight with Gerry or anything like that. It was the opposite situation for her and the show’s lead. The new episode saw Joan winning the group date one-on-one and rose after she told a hilarious poem during the talent show. She and Gerry shared a great night but the morning after, she found out she needed to leave.

After getting a phone call from her daughter, she had to leave the show immediately due to a family emergency. She was very upset to have to leave but told the other contestants and Gerry that she needed to go be a mom.

Joan Vassos was one person we were definitely rooting for, especially since she seems like a bubbly person who has a lot to offer. We’re sending love and well wishes to her and her family in this difficult time.
