Is When Calls the Heart ending: When Calls the Heart season 11 renewal updates

It seems like only yesterday the tenth season of When Calls the Heart premiered, yet the season is quickly coming to a close. The season 10 finale is slated to air on Sunday, Oct. 15, bringing the end to what has been a very eventful season of Hallmark’s beloved drama.

Season 10 has brought about many surprising developments, so many that it’s hard to think they’ve all taken place over the course of just a few short episodes.

Lee and Rosemary finally started their family with the birth of their daughter. A hot spring was discovered in Hope Valley, bringing with it a wave of visitors. And now Lucas is running for governor after Union City Holdings’ true intentions and the current Governor’s involvement came to light, with their plan to divert water from Hope Valley threatening the livelihood of the whole town.

With Lucas eyeing a run for Governor, Elizabeth was forced to face the realization that she couldn’t give him all of her heart and that they clearly wanted different things in life. As he headed off to begin the campaign trail, Elizabeth and Lucas said their final goodbyes. It seems Elizabeth and Lucas’s story has come to an end, but the good news is that When Calls the Heart still has more stories to be told!

Will there be a season 11 of When Calls the Heart?

Prior to When Calls the Heart season 10 premiering on Hallmark Channel, Hallmark renewed the show for an eleventh season which means that next week will be a season finale, not a series finale!

Having the Hearties continue this journey with us has meant the world and we are thrilled to share what’s in store these next two seasons!”"

Season 11 will consist of 12 episodes total and it’s expected that the season will arrive sometime in 2024 with an exact premiere date expected to come early next year.

The good news is that season 11 is not being eyed as the show’s final season with the series creator Brad Bird making it clear that he has no plans in ending the show anytime soon. So as long as fans keep tuning in, there will hopefully be many more stories to be told in Hope Valley for seasons to come!
