Sometimes the broadcast schedules can be a bit difficult to keep up with. While most shows air new episodes weekly, there’s times where they will take a week or two off. At times there’s a reason, while other points it’s to make room for a special event or program. But believe me, I know how annoying it can be when your favorite series is pushed.

Thankfully, we don’t have to worry about that this evening! That’s because The Voice is new tonight, Oct. 9, 2023, on NBC. The competition is sticking to its regular Monday night schedule, airing a new episode at 8 p.m. ET. The next round of Blind Auditions will be two hours long. Episodes are also available to stream on Peacock the next day.

And if you’re already thinking ahead to Tuesday as well, I’ve got your back! In fact according to NBC’s schedule, we’re not just getting one new episode, but two. The first begins at 8 p.m. ET, and the next at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. So be sure to still carve out two hours of your time if you’re watching the show live.

What do the teams look like so far?

Of course we know that this season of The Voice 2023 features coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Reba McEntire. The first trio are all alums on the competition, having taken a seat on the big red chairs before. But, this is McEntire’s first season as coach! Last year, she was the mega-mentor though. So she’s familiar with the popular show. This season marks the first that Blake Shelton is not a coach since the series began.

One of the recent standouts in my opinion so far include 17-year-old Kaylee Shimizu who we met in episode 4, which aired on Oct. 3. The young singer manages to get a four-chair turn with her rendition of “Golden Slumbers” by the Beatles. Ultimately though, the Ewa Beach, Hawaii native decides to go with Team John Legend.

Another contestant I think has great potential is Bluffton, South Carolina native Stee from episode 3, which aired on Oct. 2. He too was able to get all four coaches to turn around performing “Sugar” by Maroon 5. Though John used the block on Niall, and was able to get Stee. I’m not going to lie, I think John is in the running to come out the winner! We shared the full contestant list so far below:
