Another revival is about to grace the small screen this fall! The beloved sitcom Frasier is getting a revamp on streaming service Paramount+! The new series is considered a “third act” for Frasier and takes place in Boston, where the character was first introduced in the ’70s sitcom Cheers. In the original Frasier series, the show was set in Seattle, where the titular character grew up. According to Variety, Frasier is “in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston, Massachusetts, with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill”.
Kelsey Grammer returns as the lead alongside Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frederick “Freddy” Crane, Frasier’s son. Freddy was played by Trevor Einhorn in the original series. Though not in the main cast, Bebe Neuwirth will be reprising her role as Frasier’s ex-wife Lilith Sternin and Peri Gilpin will also reprise her role as Roz. Additional cast members include Anders Keith as David Crane, Frasier’s nephew and is the son of Niles (played by David Hyde Pierce in the original series) and Daphne (played by Jane Leeves in the original series), Jess Salgueiro as Eve, Freddy’s roommate, and Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, the head of an Ivy League university psychology department.

There are ten episodes in total in the first season of the Frasier revival on Paramount+. The episodes are being released over the course of three weeks, with the first two episodes premiering on Oct. 12, 2023, and the final episode airing on Dec. 7, 2023.

Right now, there is only one way to watch the entirety of the Frasier revival. At the moment, Paramount+ will be streaming all ten episodes of the first season.
