When does American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2 premiere?
American Horror Story: Delicate is heading toward a mid-season break. But when will second half of season 12 premiere? Here’s what we know!
As usual, the new season of the long-running FX anthology series tells a new story, even with a few returning cast members. Emma Roberts plays Anna Victoria Alcott, an actress rising in fame. She and her husband, Dexter (Matt Czuchry), are trying to have a child with Anna becoming pregnant. However, she’s soon getting strange visions of an intruder and hints there’s more to her pregnancy than it seems.
The season has a good cast, which includes Kim Kardashian in a scene-stealing turn as Anna’s publicist and the usual crazy antics of any AHS season. However, it will be seeing a split due to real-life events.
Why is American Horror Story: Delicate split into two parts?
The series had been filming in May when the Writers Guild of America strike happened. At first, production was still ongoing but was eventually suspended in support of the strike. It was then definitely halted when the Screen Actors Guild went on strike in July. Thus, the series remains in limbo until the strikes are settled, even though the WGA strike is finished.
It’s assumed the season had been scripted before filming began, so the show’s return rests on how long the SAG strike lasts. It’s presumed if that strike ends by the end of October, filming can resume immediately. Should the SAG strike last the rest of the year, that’s naturally a much longer delay.
Right now, Harper’s Bazaar reports American Horror Story: Delicate Part 2 will release in 2024, there’s been no word on whether it’ll be early in the year or toward the spring. For now, Part 1 will conclude on October 18, with a long wait ahead before the conclusion of this wild AHS season finally airs.
