If You Were the Last is a love story that’s out of this world. Literally! Adam and Jane are two astronauts working for NASA. While on their mission, something goes wrong – their spaceship is “broken and drifting” between Jupiter and Saturn, per the synopsis. With no one to rely on except each other and since it seems like no one is coming to save them, the two start arguing. But one day, Adam suggests they sleep together. At first Jane thinks nothing of it. Though this gets them thinking whether they want to spend “their remaining days” just as friends, or more. The movie stars Anthony Mackie as Adam and Zoë Chao as Jane. Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will recognize the actor’s name as he took on the role of Sam Wilson/Falcon/Captain America in the MCU. His roles in the universe are Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Captain America: Brave New World, and the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

His potential onscreen romance is Zoë Chao. The actress is known for her movie roles as Tiffany Blanchette in Netflix’s Senior Year, Minka in Your Place or Mine on Netflix, and Ramona in Prime Video film Somebody I Used to Know. On TV, the talent starred as Isobel in Strangers, Zoë Zhu in Apple TV+’s Afterparty, and currently Lucy Dang in Party Down on Starz. If You Were the Last also stars Natalie Morales and Geoff Stults.
