Is The Nun 2 streaming on Max? (Where to watch)

Perhaps you’ve been indulging in horrors in theaters but, it’s also around this time that fans of the macabre start looking for theatrical releases from earlier in the season to come to a streaming platform. One such film is The Nun 2.

Released on Sept. 8, 2023, the sequel to the 2018 movie that rattled our bones has been scaring up a storm. However, after spending nearly two months in theaters, the gothic supernatural horror is making its way to streaming. The movie, which is a part of The Conjuring franchise, returns viewers to the plot four years after the first film’s end.

Valak is still on the loose, terrorizing anyone and everyone it comes across. The year is 1956 and, in France when a priest is murdered, Sister Irene opens an investigation that forces her to confront evil once again. When does The Nun 2 come to Max?

Deadline reports subscribers can expect The Nun 2 to land on Max come Friday, Oct. 27. That’s perfect timing since Halloween will be right around the corner. Make sure to keep little ones, and the easily frightened, out of the room as the film is rated R for violent content and some terror. Viewers should expect plenty of blood and gore to be shown in the movie, so if you’re squeamish this may be one to skip.
