When is the Magnum P.I. series finale? (Premiere predictions)

There are only a few episodes left in Magnum P.I. season 5, but this one stings more than others as it’s not only the season finale, but the series finale. Just how many episodes are left and when is the series finale? We have all the details so you don’t miss out!

What fans of the series are the most disappointed about, is the fact that NBC canceled the series unexpectedly when we all thought there would be a sixth season. Fortunately, in an interview with Deadline, showrunner Eric Guggenheim shared that he believes longtime fans will be happy with how season 5 ends. Guggenheim told the source, “I actually think it’s quite satisfying. I’m really proud of the finale.” Knowing we will be getting closure is definitely a great feeling. But it’s bittersweet, because we wish there could be another season.

Magnum P.I. season 5 was split into two parts. The first part ran from Feb. 19 to April 23. After five months, season 5 part 2 picked up on Oct. 4. Season 5 will include 20 episodes, 10 in each part. What does this mean for the series finale?

When is the last episode of Magnum P.I.? (release date predictions)

At the time of this writing, five episodes have aired from season 5 part 2, this means there are five more to go. And if that’s the case, and the series doesn’t skip any weeks, the finale will be on Wednesday, Dec. 6. However, please note that this is not a confirmed date, it’s only where it falls on. Because of holidays ahead (specifically Thanksgiving), it’s very possible for Magnum P.I. will skip another week or two, pushing the finale date to mid-December or possible early January.
