How many episodes are in Invincible season 2 on Prime Video?

Who’s ready for the return of adult animated superhero series, Invincible? I sure am! The second season debuts Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 on Prime Video. And if you’re anything like me, I like to know how many episodes a season has to know how long I’ll be tuning in. And we’ve got the answer for you!

Invincible season 2 has a total of eight episodes. The first will begin streaming on premiere day, followed by weekly releases. However not the whole season is coming out this year. There’s going to be a mid-season break first. We break down the episode release schedule further in the article.

Invincible season 2 episode release schedule on Prime Video

Invincible season 2 premieres Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 with the first episode on Prime Video. After that, one new installment of the eight-episode season will be released weekly on Fridays until Nov. 24. The fourth episode serves as the mid-season finale. Then, the series will take a break and return in early 2024 to debut the next set of four episodes, per a press release. An exact release date hasn’t been announced yet. Based on the comics series of the same name, Invincible is centered around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, who is living a normal life. Except for the fact that his dad was the “most powerful superhero on the planet,’ per the synopsis. In season 2, we’re going to see him “reeling from Nolan’s betrayal,” and try to rebuild his life while also dealing with new threats. If that wasn’t enough for him, he has to face his greatest fear of possibly becoming his father.
