The Buccaneers promises to be a fun new drama for Apple TV+. But when can you see new episodes of this series on the streamer?

Despite the title, The Buccaneers has nothing to do with pirates. Created by Katherine Jankeways and based on an unfinished novel by Edith Wharton, the series focuses on a London community in the 1870s that holds to classic traditions. That’s thrown off balance when a pack of American women (Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse, and Mia Threapleton) arrive with new fashions and ideas that throw the Londoners off. Christina Hendricks and Simone Kirby also star.

The culture clash is marked by the use of modern-day music for the series and shows how the two sides try their best to get along. Susannah White directs the episodes of a show that seems to put the female characters front and center of all the action and drama. The show looks to be a fun mix of classic period drama with modern sensibilities, but when can you watch it on Apple TV+?

What is the schedule for The Buccaneers?

The show will debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, with the first three episodes dropping at once. Subsequent episodes in the eight-episode series will drop each Wednesday, with the season 1 finale airing December 13.
