Is Love Bites from Kitchen Nightmares still open?

Season 8 episode 6 features Love Bites, a small restaurant in Saugerties, New York, that is (or was, in this case) owned by childhood sweethearts. Unfortunately, you read that right, Love Bites is sadly no longer is no longer in business. The restaurant didn’t only need rescuing, but so did the relationship between the cafe’s former owners. Ramsay the matchmaker? I can’t imagine it!

Fans are a little confused about the status of Love Bites. On their social media, a working number is posted. We called it, and it is for a restaurant, but not the same one featured in the episode. From what we found online using our investigative journalism skills (aka Google), we learned that the owners we see in the episode sold Love Bites, transferring ownership to someone else. That’s really too bad!

On Instagram, former customers have shared how much they miss Love Bites. Still, this is a fun episode and goes to show not every restaurant featured in the series will be a success story.
