Happy Monday to each of you, I hope the week is fruitful and filled with plenty of great content to stream. Like we do each and every week, we’re sharing all the best Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Nov. 13, 2023.
My favorite time of the year is the holidays because it gives me an opportunity to catch up on some of the things that Netflix has released this year that I might’ve missed. So, I wanted to share a list of good movies and shows you should watch. Series’ like The Diplomat, Beef, and Fubar were all great, while films like Fair Play, Extraction 2, and the documentary Sly are all good watches.
What’s new on Netflix this week? (November 13)
- Matt Rife Natural Selection, Nov. 15
- Best Christmas. Ever!, Nov. 16
- The Crown season 6, Nov. 16
- Rustin, Nov. 17
The rise of Matt Rife has been an incredible run within the last year going from performing in front of small crowds to selling out a world tour. Earlier this year, he released his latest stand-up special, Matt Rife: Matthew Steven Rife which continues to be the number one slot specials I’ve watched this year. He is set to make his Netflix debut with Natural Selection. If you aren’t familiar with Rife’s work, I promise after watching this special you’ll want more.
The other big release you should be watching is the feature film Rustin. The biopic follows the story of activist and organizer Bayard Rustin in the early 60s when he architected the big march on Washington. The film stars the immensely talented Colman Domingo in the lead role of Bayard Rustin, and he delivers a performance of a lifetime. This should be at the top of your watchlist this weekend.
From our suggestions, what will you be watching? Are you excited about Rustin? Or will you be checking out Natural Selection with me? Let’s hope next week brings us more Netflix additions.
