Update: Nov. 16, 2023 – ABC confirms 911 season 7 premiere date. According to TVLine, the procedural will debut on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET.

TV is making its way back! Sure, we’ll be waiting until the opening months of the year to watch our favorite shows but at least we know a good portion of them are coming back soon. On that list is 911. The hit procedural made the jump from FOX to ABC and, unlike its spin-off 911: Lone Star, its seventh season isn’t being held until Fall 2024.

While it’s yet to be confirmed, eagle-eyed fans caught a promo release before it was taken down. In the video teaser, which also states all seasons of 911 are on Hulu, the release date for season 7 was announced. It’s set to hit our TV screens on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Mark your calendars! A time slot wasn’t shared but whether the series gets the 8 p.m. ET or the 9 p.m. ET slot, we know fans are going to be ready to see what the network change will do to the story.

This turn around time for 911 season 7 does make sense. Per The Hollywood Reporter, with the strikes over, filming is set to begin on the show in January 2024. A specific start date for filming hasn’t been shared. Neither has an official episode count. However, most of broadcast television is keeping their returning shows to 10-13 episode seasons to compensate for the delay. That’ll likely be the case for this procedural drama as well.

As more news rolls in, we’ll also learn if there will be any cast shake-ups or additions. It’s an exciting time for TV lovers as we inch closer to the return of the primetime schedule as we’ve grown used to it over the years.
